2: Place The Water-Filled Inner Pot Inside Of The Cooker
Of course, I am assuming that you already have your rice cooker plugged into the power outlet at this stage.
Also, make sure that the outside of the inner pot is dry before inserting it into your rice cooker as water on the exterior may cause damage to your cooker.
3: Boil The Water
With the Aroma rice cooker, simply press the Keep Warm Button and then press the Boil Button. Then just wait for the water to boil.
4: Add Your Pasta
Now that the water has boiled, add your pasta to the boiling water. Remember your pasta will double in size, so take that into consideration when adding the pasta. Some people like to add salt at this stage as well.

5: How Long Does It Take Pasta To Cook In A Rice Cooker?
Depending on the type of pasta, noodles, or spaghetti… it can take anywhere between 4 and 10 minutes. Once the pasta has reached your desired softness, it’s time to use the inner pot lid of your Aroma Rice Cooker to drain water through the pasta strainer.
This lid is quite a clever invention. It has a glass top just like any other lid but it also has strainer holes around the rim.
So all you have to do is attach the lid to the inner pot and when the pasta is ready, take out the inner pot and tip the water down the sink through the lid.
All the water is gone and your pasta remains in the pot. Easy peasy… no more messing about with separate strainers.
The following video gives you a great idea about how it works…
6: Add Your Additional Ingredients
Once the water has been completely drained from your pasta, you can now add your additional ingredients such as sauce, and mix them with your pasta.
7: That’s It You’re Done
All you have to do now is press the Keep Warm button and your pasta is ready to serve straight from the pot. The keep-warm function will maintain the temperature.
Please note: 12 hours should be the maximum time you leave food warming in the rice cooker.
