I was very strict with my criteria for the bikes to make it onto the best-of list. Anything good (60% or above 5-star rating) wasn’t good enough. I included the excellent raters (70% or above 5-star reviews).

In searching for the best recumbent bike for big people there was a couple that had 500 lb weight capacity but they either had poor ratings or almost zero sales. A few more at 400 lbs but they didn’t rate higher enough either.

So the highest weight limit to make it is 380lbs.
