My Favorite Iron For Sewing Projects… Works Great For When I’m Tackling All Phases Of Creating A Quilt And Quilt Blocks Since There’s So Much Seam Pressing!

I took the Panasonic Cordless to my quilting and sewing group meetings and everyone came running over to see it–it is really lovely. Some people oohed and aahhhed, and put it on their Christmas list.

Great for my sewing projects…

  • The clear case is one of the best features as it can be carried to quilting classes or sewing groups.

You can take the iron wherever the item is…

  • Helpful if you have big sewing projects like curtains to not have to get the curtains up over an ironing board.

Perfect for sewing…

  • I LOVE this iron! I have had it for about a few weeks now and have been using it non stop for sewing. I have no complaints and would purchase it again. Not having a cord is really such a nice feature for me!

NO cord to entangle with WOW…

  • I purchased to use with my sewing room and I have to say, it is next to the best item, other than my sewing machine, that has improved my sewing needs. I love, love, love it. Iron is ready on demand.

This iron is excellent for a home sewing business…

  • I’ve used it to iron yards and yards of fabric before cutting out patterns, I continue using it to press seams & facings, etc as I sew.

I do a lot of sewing and quilting and the pieces stay put…

  • Great small iron. I use it in my sewing room for quilting and love no cord to mess with. Convenient and heats up fast. Works very well.

This has been great for my sewing and crafting projects…

  • I love this iron! While making all the masks for protection, I kept it right by the sewing machine. Great for sewing and also everyday pressing

This cordless iron is the BEST for quilting…

  • Works great for steaming curtains while hanging. Awesome for quilting and sewing.

I would recommend it to every sewing student…

  • Best investment in an iron ever! I love it. I appreciate that it comes with its own case – easy to take to the classes I teach. I am not always having to keep the cord out of the way. It has wonderful temperature ranges, heats very quickly, and shuts off automatically.

I would never go back to a cord again…

  • I sew on a daily basis and the thought of a cordless iron was like a dream come true for me. I have been using it for about a month now and I am completely thrilled! it stays hot and the steam function works great.

The best tool in my sewing room hands down…

  • I have had this iron for about 5 years now and STILL LOVE IT! Whenever I am at my parents’ house or a class and have to use a corded iron, I realize again how much I love mine!

I have my own sewing business…

  • I have an upholstery business and this new iron is easy to maneuver and stays hot long enough for making my biased seam tape.

I love the portability since I sew…

  • Absolutely one of the best purchases I ever made for my sewing and craft room. Not having a cord in the way while ironing is great.

I’m free…

  • I have been sewing for personal pleasure for 45 years and one thing I always was frustrated with was the iron’s cord pulling.

Everyone needs to get this iron…

  • The best newest invention. I do a lot of quilting and sewing and can move the iron anywhere I want and not worry about a cord.

Great for sewing and quilting…

  • My last iron was good but this is even better. With no cord pulling along on your clothing item or sewing project, you have better results and your work is easier. I love this iron!

So nice for sewing retreats…

  • My wife’s sister (AKA “Thorough Pain In The…..”) showed up for their weekly Saturday sewing klatsch. They had to iron a bunch of fabrics to get them ready for sewing and the next thing you know they’re coming around to tell me how great the iron is. Well, I breathed a big sigh of relief, put on my smug look of “Of course, what’d you expect out of me?” and went and had a beer. My wife has mentioned several times since how much she likes it.

I’ve had this iron for years now and it’s still going strong…

  • It’s reliable and convenient. I do a lot of quilting and sewing and this is the perfect iron for that. I’m short on space for my hobbies, like most people, and this iron being cordless works out really well in a small space. I’m so glad I lucked out and bought the best iron for my needs.

This is, hands down, the nicest iron I’ve ever used for sewing/quilting…

  • Hands down the very best iron I’ve ever purchased and I’ve bought n used many irons. Heats quickly, maintains heat during pressing, reheats quickly, doesn’t “squirt”, spit or leak water during dry-ironing. The water reservoir is removable which is convenient! Adore using this iron while sewing — NO cord to dangle and deal with. In a word? PERFECT!!

Crafter, Sewer, Quilter dream machine a cordless iron that rocks…

  • This is a quilter’s dream iron, every person that sew’s used an iron for the seams to lay down well this is the answer. A CORDLESS IRON THAT DOESNT GET TANGLED IN ANYTHING and it stays the set temp for a long long long time.

Great Iron for Quilting…

  • I can also just grab it and take it anywhere in my sewing studio for quick steam or press. For something like piecing a quilt where you sew, then press over and over again, it’s great.

It’s perfect for ironing pieces as you sew them…

  •  I use it on my clothes daily and when I sew, I take it into my sewing room with me, the cordless feature makes it much easier to use when piecing small quilt pieces, mainly because you’re not restricted by the cord. Buy it, you’ll love it!

What Customers Who Use This Steam Iron For Sewing Said About The Rowenta Steam Iron: (source)

I Sew And Pressing The Seams Is Really The Secret To A Good Outcome!

Great Iron just perfect no auto shut off and the steam flow is incredible.. love it, the easy remove tank to fill is great and convenient when you quilt or sew it gives hours of ironing and works incredible… well worth the money.

Perfect for the serious ironer…

  • I love this iron. I sew all day and need a serious iron that can do the job. You can’t beat the steam this iron puts out. The base is a bit large but does hold a lot of water to keep you working longer. Extra-long plug-in cord allows you to reach faraway outlets.

I sew from morning to evening and this iron is a game-changer…

  • I use the iron for 8-10 hours almost every day in my sewing studio, and I still consider it the best, I like how I can control temperature and steam. I even like it better than a gravity-fed industrial iron.

Worth spending the extra money for…

  • I sew professionally so my irons/steam generators get heavy-duty use. This model is absolutely the best! Easy to control steam output and a large tank.

I am happily sewing and ironing…

  • This steam made my sewing go so much easier and it takes almost no time to secure the interfacing to the facing with this iron. That step in sewing used to take forever with my old iron.

Sewist put this on your Christmas list…

  • The best tool in the sewing kit! I love how much water the tank holds. I can sew or quilt all day without stopping to refill for continual steam.

Provides hours of uninterrupted ironing…

  • I have it set up by my sewing machine and it’s wonderful; powerful bursts of steam on demand! You wouldn’t believe how fast one can iron linen dresses!

How did I ever sew garments without this steam iron…

  • It takes the wrinkles out better than any iron I have owned. This is a great iron for ironing fabric yardage for sewing and clothes.

One of my best sewing tools…

  • This is a game-changer if you sew! I’ve never been so happy about iron as I am this one. The steam function stays strong long enough to press a 34×64″ area of fabric in just a minute. By the time you reposition the fabric, the iron is ready to go full blast, again.

 Great Garment Sewing Iron…

  • I did have the lower priced purple steam generator, and I loved it but hated it because it turned off all the time. That is not cool when you are garment sewing. I gave that one away, and bought this one — I LOVE IT!!! Holy moly — the steam!!! And it does not turn off!!! I love this while sewing because I do not have to worry it is off about the time I need to press a seam. 40% of sewing is pressing for a professional look. This SG does the job! I might get a timer in case I forget to turn it off for safety.

Must-Have For Sewists…

  • I finally broke down and spent the money on this. I love to sew and it was so frustrating when my iron would constantly run out of water. It was very difficult to have efficiency when you are sewing seams, etc….With this, the water lasts for the duration of my project no problems. There is no auto-off so make sure you turn it off. Quilters would also love this. Highly recommend for sewers and quilters.

Is Stays Hot All Day…

  • I quilt and sew garments and get tired of constantly having to wait for the iron to heat up due to the automatic shut-off feature on most irons. This iron was the ticket for me! It stays hot all day long and every time I get up to use it there is an abundance of steam instantly ready. It really takes the wrinkles out of fabrics and presses seams perfectly flat. I would definitely recommend to anyone who quilts or frequently sews.

I Do A Lot Of Sewing And Its Sharp Tip Is Magic For Getting Into Seams!

I love that I can control the level of steam that comes out while ironing, from a tiny bit to enough to take the wrinkles out of a delicate garment without touching the fabric. The shape is unique. The front is quite pointy and allows me to get into tight spaces for sewing and quilting.

 Best Iron I’ve Ever Owned…

  • I do a lot of sewing and therefore use my iron a lot, too. It seems this Rowenta iron does twice the job in half the time. I agree with other reviewers that it uses quite a bit of water, but it also delivers incredible steam and makes my sewing projects much easier.

When you need the best…

  • It gets good and hot, which is my frustration with other brands. The self-clean feature is very helpful to someone like me who sews every day. It performs just as well on the dry setting as it does on any of the steam settings. It is also very effective in all settings on the temperature range.

So THAT’s what a good iron is…

  • And the pointy little nose is great for ironing open seams and making basting or binding strips for sewing projects.

The Only Iron I Use For French Hand Sewing…

  • My favorite brand. Other models have leaked. This one is great. Have had almost a year and still working great.
Best steam. Wonderful for ironing linens and fine cotton. For French hand sewing with fine cotton such as Swiss batiste and voile, this is the only iron I will use.

I have friends who sew at my house and everyone is in LOVE with this iron…

  • I was looking for an iron with some weight behind it and high heat. This iron did not disappoint. It even has a slim sharp “nose” so you can get it into tight spots – especially useful when ironing seams open when sewing clothing/pillows etc.

I sew almost every day – it is important to have a good iron for professional results…

  • The Rowenta provides plenty of steam and I especially like the narrow tip to get into tight places. It’s the most I have ever paid for an iron, but it is worth every penny…..I love this iron!

Great Iron, especially for people who sew…

  • I quilt and sew, thus I must have an iron that’s really, really good. Rowenta is the best I’ve found so far. It is usually whats recommended by the quilt shops. The way it’s designed, you can press the smallest of seams open with minimal effort. Yes, it’s more expensive than other brands, but it’s totally worth every penny!

This iron is a must for anyone who sews…

  • I sew professionally, which requires greater iron capacity than ordinary smaller brands. It does everything I need it to do. I like the greater number of steam holes, the extra smooth soleplate, and the larger amount of water capacity for steam.

Sewing professionally using this iron…

  • I am a tailor, and I own an Etsy shop making and selling baby clothing. I’m always busy, and anyone who sews professionally knows that an iron is one of the most important tools in your arsenal. I’ll tell you now, I LOVE this iron.

My last Rowenta iron lasted me almost 14 years so the price is worth it…

  • I love the burst of the steam feature because the force of the steam really knocks out the wrinkles with one burst! This is a dependable iron and excellent for sewing projects and blocking crochet projects as well as your everyday ironing.

All the problems were easily pressed away, and I have a lovely new dress…

  • What a dream. I’m sewing a very delicate silk dress that I thought was a disaster until I pressed it with the new Rowenta.
