What Reviewers Said About This Baby Carrier That Faces Forward:

I love how she can sit outward and look around and once she falls asleep it is super easy to flip her around to be facing in.

The Best Front & Inward Facing Baby Carrier

  • Once she was old enough to hold her head up well, we switched her to forward-facing which she LOVES.
  • It’s super comfortable to wear, and I love how easy it is to switch my kid in/out/facing in/facing out. My kids love riding in it.
  • She giggles and coos and happily kicks her feet the whole time she’s in there, it’s pretty awesome!)
  • I really wanted one that can face outward because my daughter loves to watch things around her.
  • Baby is super comfy facing in or out or on our backs.
  • He has been carried inward and outward-facing since then.
  • Baby is 2 months old now, so he is still in the “facing me” position.
  • When I put him in, he goes to sleep soon after and stays asleep. I can put him in and out of it myself.
  • Love the many different adjustments for seating positions depending on weight/height.
  • I can carry him front facing in this carrier, which he absolutely loves.
  • My daughter has recently started facing out at five months, and it’s great to have that option as well.
  • It’s an easy and quick change from front-facing to facing inward.
  • My favorite feature is the front-facing and rear-facing button adjustment on the carrier, which can be switched by changing two buttons. I love this because my baby will be napping one minute and then awake the next.
  • Love the front-facing feature, especially when you have a curious baby who loves looking at new things when you go out.

Super Comfy Baby Carrier For The Wearer

  • My daughter has even fallen asleep in it facing forward. That’s how comfortable it is.
  • Super comfy for the wearer.
  • Ergobaby carriers are by far the most comfortable carriers for the person wearing the baby (at least from the ones I’ve tried).
  • EDIT: my daughter is now 6 months old and 20 lbs. and this carrier is just as comfortable as it was when she was 8 lbs.
  • I can wear her for hours without getting tired.
  • With an older child, I feel like I am constantly wearing the newborn—otherwise, I would get nothing done. So for me, it is well worth the price to have the most comfort.
  • It’s beautifully made, comfy, and super practical.
  • I can now say the Omni 360 is the only one you’ll ever need which is such a relief. It’s so comfortable and easy to wear.
  • WAY more comfortable than the previous carrier mentioned and the cotton/cushion around the baby’s legs is unmatched. My baby loves this carrier and so do I.
  • I’ve worn it for 2+ hours walking around with my 8-month-old and I’m 5’4. It also fits my 5’8 husband and 5’10 brother.
  • The carrier is comfortable to wear, putting most of the baby’s weight on the waist or hips, not shoulders.
  • This is my favorite carrier! It’s narrow, allowing my boy to get some airflow, comfortable for both of us, and super easy to put on for both myself, my mother in law, and my husband
  • The only carrier you’ll need! I usually use a wrap for my newborn, but the ease and comfort of this carrier will definitely change that! This is my new go-to for every stage!!
  • This carrier is super easy to use and it’s very comfortable to wear.

I have suffered with severe back problems for the past 2 years and I had no issues at all carrying my daughter for hours in the carrier.

  • Such a supportive carrier.

  • I recently hiked through Mariposa Grove in Yosemite with him in the backpack position and it felt great! Absolutely zero back pain.
  • Lillebaby is by far the most convenient and comfortable carrier I own.
  • The wide waist belt is super comfortable and holds my c-sectioned abs in nicely too.
  • It is so comfortable and supportive for both my baby and me.

If you have other children it really helps you be able to keep hands free from the baby so you can deal with them.

  • I love just going for walks in it also.
  • My son’s favorite position is forward-facing out so he can see everything.
  • He also loves riding on the back.
  • I haven’t tried the side position yet but I can honestly say it’s very comfortable any way you decided to wear it.
  • Once your baby gets to be about 6 months or is sitting on his/her own, do try the carrier in the back position. It is so comfortable.

Best baby carrier for hiking

Reviewer Comments:

This was quiet possibly the best baby gear item we have purchased. If you’re on the fence about it, GET IT. We LOVE it! We are an active family and use it all the time. Our son has hiked with us through the Rocky Mountain National Park, and many of Colorado’s other awesome trails and mountains. He loves it!

  • With this carrier, I hiked almost a mile with my 15.5 lb baby in it.
  • And no back/ shoulder ache… I was amazed. Looking forward to longer hikes.
  • I use it almost every day with a 20+pound baby and my back/shoulders are rarely sore – only when I’ve gone hiking or used it for multiple hours straight.
  • It’s super comfortable and I never feel like I’m putting any pressure on my back, or anywhere really.
  • I use this every day for 1-3 hours, on long walks and hikes. It’s very comfortable!!

Reviewer Comments:

I’m really impressed with the Ergo air mesh. I was looking for something I could easily put on solo to carry my 9 month old (~20lb) while hiking in the hot weather.

  • I have the Cool Air Mesh version of the Omni 360 which is an added bonus, my babies did tend to get sweaty in the Original and this really helps keep the baby and wearer cool.
  • Wow, this Ergobaby OMNI 360 Cool Air Carrier does it all!
  • So many different carrying positions- but carrying positions are limited to your baby’s weight. For example, up to 14lbs, you can only do front inward facing carry.
  • The cool mesh material is great, my babies are hot natured and I live in Florida so the breathable mesh is ideal.

Reviewer Comments:

This is hands down the BEST carrier I have ever purchased! I went through so many when my little man was born. The moby wrap, Infantino strapped carriers, then a moby carrier with support straps…nothing was quite right, or was too complicated to tie together for an impatient spirited kid. Then I found the Tula and it’s been a game changer

  • I tried other carriers that allowed forward-facing, but they either didn’t offer enough support (Infantino) as he got bigger, or felt too large and bulky on me (Lillebaby). The Tula explore has been a perfect middle ground.
  • Beautiful fabric, intuitive design, super easy to use.
  • I also love how easy it is to move from forward-facing to facing in. Just a quick move of the button.
  • It’s easy to figure out and use and the multiple different ways to wear it really make this a great versatile carrier for your baby
  • I bought it for the forward-facing carry option but love the other carrying options as well.
